Not only is this dish easy and includes cheap ingredients but it will definitely surprise your guests too!
Prep Time: 15 min
All you need:
Canned Tomatoes (with juice)
Pita Bread (optional)
2 cloves of garlic, 1 Onion (diced)
1.) In a skillet, add olive oil, garlic and onions. Add the tomato (plus juice) and break up the tomatoes. Let Simmer
2.) Crack an egg into a small bowl and then gently slip the egg into the tomato sauce. Repeat with remaining eggs until the whites are firm and the yolks have thickened.
3.) If the tomato sauce gets too dry, add a few tablespoons of water.
4.) Optional: Serve with pita bread
